lyrics
Here’s your hair shirt son
We all have to do uncomfortable things
So get on with it
Get on with it
Now I’m grateful
For all the opportunities
Hard work has brought my way
I got on with it
The only time you know you exist
Is when you want something
I’m over-wrought with love and happiness
My heart’s fit to burst with good intentions
My heart’s fit to burst with good intentions but
Another six months spent in perpetual darkness
Watching dead leaves falling from the trees
Is all it would take to finish me off
Throw me on the pile with the rest to be burned
And pull the fillings from my teeth
The only time I know I exist
Is when I want something
And this is my meaning in life
A joke without a punch-line
Is a waste of time
Monday morning
Start of another week
Property pages and the smell of anti-freeze
I kid myself that I turn you on
Your money's no good to me here, etc

After years of listening to this album I finally decided to write this, I keep coming back to this album time and time again, it's just that good, the guitars, the bass, the hypnotic vocals and just the overall melody makes me dream and transport me to another world in seconds, this album is just one magnificent piece of art filled with so much feelings and dept to it, I just can't get enough azurezeed
This Glasgow band is less straightforward or formulaic than many others currently treading the '80s post-punk path. These songs are winged. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 22, 2017
