Sold Out
lyrics
They say “that bastard sold us down the river
The rats couldn’t run away quick enough”
Either way you knew what was coming to you
You always were such a clever one
Kicking and screaming, dragged from your bed
Up to the block and it’s off with your head!
Strung upside down from a streetlight, sonny
I watch as they stamp your mangy bones
Into the cobblestones
I’m of the opinion now
That devils forsake their familiars
And quick march upstarts will kill you
As soon as look at you
Stay in your houses
Stay in your homes tonight
Stay in your houses
There’s dread on the streets tonight
Idiot faces with idiot grins
Are the result of a lack of discipline
We’ll draw new maps of hell tonight
Your liberal middle class
What do you do when the dogs bite back?
There she is, there she is again
On the spit, coming round again

After years of listening to this album I finally decided to write this, I keep coming back to this album time and time again, it's just that good, the guitars, the bass, the hypnotic vocals and just the overall melody makes me dream and transport me to another world in seconds, this album is just one magnificent piece of art filled with so much feelings and dept to it, I just can't get enough azurezeed
This Glasgow band is less straightforward or formulaic than many others currently treading the '80s post-punk path. These songs are winged. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 22, 2017
